Playoff picture

Muckrakers,

We're alive and well in the playoff push. Right now we're 3-2 in fourth place in the standings. We're one game behind the AMR All Stars (4-1) who we play in the second half of the doubleheader on Thursday. The first game is against Lucky Us (1-4). Also the two top teams play each other -- The Guys (5-1) and Carson Designs (6-1) -- so that'll be a factor and I'm guessing since Carson Designs will have played eight games, one of their games will be thrown out. If we win both we could finish anywhere from second to third. If we make the playoffs as the third seed, we'd start Saturday at 9 a.m. with the possibility of playing three games that day. If we make it as the second seed we'd be starting on Saturday and playing at 11:20 a.m. and then possibly again at 4 and if we win that one 12:30 the next day. Also to complicate things there's a good chance of rain on Thursday and I'm sure that'd mean pushing the playoff schedule back and having makeup games on Saturday. So stay tuned and be ready to swing those bats!
