CONCORD -- Well, gang, it was a hell of a run, but the Muckrakers' Fall League came to an end Wednesday night in the playoffs, one day short of finals day.
The gallant 'Rakers defeated Boodissy 18-5 in the first game on Field 2, but fell in the next game by a 17-6 count to have their season come to a close. More details will be published as they become known.
Still and all, it was a wonderful season, and all the 'Rakers and their fans got their full money's, and beer's, worth. One can only wonder what '08 has in store.
